    Colorado has 85 snowshoeing trails. These trails range from to 25 miles in length. The most popular trails are The Crags Trail, Pikes Peak and St. Mary’s Glacier & James Peak. member Joe C. recently completed Guanella Pass: Silver Dollar Lake Trail. The Colorado Trail is a long-distance backpacking and hiking trail that runs miles from Denver to Durango in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. I thru-hiked the Colorado Trail in the summer of and it was one of my favorite hikes. Here are some pictures from my trip.

Trail Description: The hike along the Poudre River Trail begins from the Poudre River Trailhead at Milner Pass, located miles north of the Grand Lake Entrance, and miles south of the Alpine Visitor Center.
